BMO BANK CALLED BANK OF MONTREAL IS WELL REPUTED BANK ON DIFFERENT SOCIAL MEDIA SITES HAVING LOTS OF FOLLOWERS. I am going to run the new campaign for BMO bank to promote the bank different products and increase the customers of BMO bank. This campaign is called get free $200-1000$ card from BMO bank when you open a new account with BMO bank. In this campaign people will asked to open new account by going online or direct through bank. They will asked to go online follow the BMO on twitter and like the Facebook page and recommend five friends to like BMO official page on twitter and Facebook. When someone’s 5 friend like Facebook and 5 like twitter 2 of them have to signup online with BMO Bank and then that person receive free shopping card starting from 200$.

The main target for this campaign is new immigrant of Canada. Who want to start their purchasing transaction and want to setup new business and new life style. This will run three times in year in all summer winter and for spring season this campaign ends after 63 days from the start day of campaign. This campaign is promoting by posting images, videos and written posts on Facebook twitter and google+.

The benefit of this campaign that the bank will get more like and follower on different social sites due to the recommending idea and increase the bank customers. This also good idea to make our old customer and new customer to stay happy and give them the believe that BMO bank will always give their customers good services and real profits.

Furthermore on YouTube it has 1080 subscriber. All this data show how popular is bank of Montreal on social media sites. Bank of Montreal has good popularity that’s why this bank not need any specific page. BMO posts various new offers on these pages. Bank of Montreal also have SPC MasterCard for students and this offer are widely shared on Facebook by students. BMO use various content like images, videos etc. on their social pages to attract customers. Bank of Montreal also use 50-50 rule.

CIBC have no any specific page for their fans. CIBC bank is using their Facebook, Twitter, YouTube official page for their fans. CIBC is more popular as it has 3,17,562 these follower on Facebook and 3,204 subscriptions on YouTube and also 109k followers on Twitter. This shows the strength of CIBC Bank on social media. These all follower are the good friend of CIBC bank and bank see them as their fans That’s is why CIBC doesn’t need any specific page for their fans only CIBC Bank is an reputed bank who is giving banking and financial services to their customer for better life. In this way they don’t require any page for their fan the want more people to attract on social media to expand their bank worldwide. CIBC Bank using various kind of content like images videos, models, product images and many more. Sometime using 50/50 rule ore some time without that.

On their page they post very late or only 1-2 posts in the month

Having 5 Followers and 53,465 views. They have no any profile Image. There is also google+ account created by the Mike Porter Manager of Commercial Account’s at 195 Main St Penticton, BC V2A 6K1.

His account have 78,775 views and two follower having much more view as we compare to BMO official page. On the home page he shared about the daily opening hours of bank and about bank new promotions. He give wishes to bank customer and follower of his account. On his post he is using 50/50 rule by posting about business and posting about peoples communities weather and games. He is doing hard to achieve success on google plus. But BMO have no any official page on google+ having bad impact on their social media.
 

All the other bank have their official accounts on google plus for example TD Canada, RBC, Scotia Banks and have many followers

On the Other hand CIBC bank have one Official account that is only in French language or no any account created by the employee’s on Google plus. That gives a defeat to CIBC by BMO because in all the Canada people are here from number of countries who doesn’t know French.


This account of CIBC bank on google plus have all the content in French language and not following 50/50 rule on google plus. This account have 5 follower which are similar to BMO bank but have much less view about 4,745. They post on google plus 2-3 times in a month

In last I only want to say’s that both banks are not doing good on google plus. They have to do good to stay on the track of google plus race in future.

On analyzing the youtube channels of both banks it was found that CIBC bank has 3,204 subscriptions and 12,382,909 views on youtube ,on the other hand, BOM bank has 1,055 subscription and 4,573,970 views on youtube. The best video posted by CIBC bank was ,”Make remote deposit easily with CIBC e-deposittm”which has 3,002,802 views and 223 likes and 139 dislikes whereas  most popular video posted by BMO bank is,”Simplify bmo biz basic plan commercial” which has 1,449,945 views with 14 likes and 9 dislikes.

The description of CIBC bank says that,”at CIBC banks we understands that everyone has its own financial needs that’s by we are dedicated to providing banking that fits your life Through our innovative products and services we provide the flexibility that allows you to bank on your own terms – when and how it’s most convenient for you. We also make it easier for you to make better financial decisions by providing information and guidance when and how you want it”.The description of BMO bank says that,”We’re here to help for all life movements,no matters big or small.
It has been also seen that CIBC bank posts 2 or 3 videos in a week whereas BMO bank  posts 3 or 4 videos in a week.CIBC bank uses animations in their videos but no animations are used by BMO banks in their videos .


In their post  CIBC videos and BMO videos content are related to both business and banking services and as well as informing people or content on daily basis that ocuur in canada. In this way both banks atre using 50/50 rule on youtube. Both banks are promoting the new services and promoting their bank on youtube

CIBC usually posts everybody on Facebook and its posts are mainly about awaring its customers about the time availability of using their e-services. It also posts some videos about weekend predictions along with seasonal changings. On the other hand, BMO posts are not seen on daily basis and sometimes they post 2-3 posts in a single day. Moreover, posts of BMO are mostly about creating awareness among their customers to not share their account information with anyone.
 

The description of CIBC bank on Facebook says,” Through our innovative products and straightforward advice CIBC provides banking that fits your life and your unique needs.” On the other hand the description of BOM bank says,” We’re here to help for all life’s moments, no matter how big or small.” Both the banks are using the 50/50 rule.
 

On comparing facebook pages of both CIBC and BMO bank, CIBC is more popular as it has 3, 17,562 followers whereas followers of BMO are only 1,01,746. Videos uploaded by CIBC are also highly viewed rather than BMO. On analyzing the posts uploaded by both the banks it can be seen that both the banks reply instantly to the enquiries of their followers in the comments below the post. BMO offers community guidelines which state some rules that people must follow while posting on their page, however, CIBC has no such guidelines.
CIBC bank content is more about their involvement in the community that for sure has shown huge results and gained following from young population on the other side BMO bank  content is more about attracting customers by promoting their ideas of using their products for leisure activities . In addition to this,CIBC bank actively participates in events related to football whereas BMO bank has no such participation.

CIBC tweets on twitter everyday sometimes they tweet 2-3 times a day while the BMO tweet only two times a day, sometimes they have gap of 2-3 days in a week. CIBC bank have 109k followers and listed 4 times whereas BMO bank have 40.2k followers and there is no information about listing. CIBC banks is doing much better than BMO BANK. BMO bank has joined twitter on November, 2010, whereas, CIBC bank has joined twitter on March, 2009.

 

CIBC respond to customers comments and concern while BMO interact rarely with customers. CIBC uses the hashtags #fits your life# space banking #income property while uses the hashtags # kidshelpphonewalk, #budget 2016#small business. CIBC has logo which include penguin picture whereas BMO bank logo include people pic
 

CIBC uses 50/50 rule in their tweets while BMO bank use 50/50 rule in few tweets, BMO bank has written on its twitter page that, ” We’re here to help for all life’s moments, no matter how big or small.” .On the other hand CIBC  bank on its twitter page has written, ”We ‘re here to provide banking  facilities that fits for your life”. CIBC latest posted tweet on 1april 2016 is,”Clients can bank at our new international space station branch #fitsyourlife#space banking”,which has retweeted 40 times and liked by 108 people.Bmo bank has posted latest tweet on 1 april 2016,” Help support @KidsHelpPhone by registering for this year's #KidsHelpPhoneWalk: walksokidscantalk.ca which has been retweeted 29 times and liked by 13 people

Bmo bank have to do more to achieve success on twitter they have to understand the user of twitter and have to post according to their interest

Creating the campaign for Amex bank  


I will create the campaign for AMEX bank. My idea is to organize some competitions such as photography and essays that would be used to select participants from college for scholarship.
My targeted audience here would be youngsters specially those who are at the college .My goal here is to attract young student community. These competitions would attract students to come and join social media pages that would further advantage the bank as they now could reach them easily and could promote their ideas among them. This would increase subscribers, daily viewers as well as those people who would share it, as they want others to participate and get a chance to win money too.


This campaign would be launched twice in a year. First would be in summers so that contestant could participate and get the money to go back n join their schools in September. Second campaign would be launched in December so that more n more students could utilize their vacation time and could use the scholarship for winter term.


I will be using Facebook as not only amex have large number of followers there but there is am option to promote our add campaign that could be utilized well to reach to the masses. Moreover you tube will be used for the same reason as we can boost our add by putting it as advertisement before videos that people play hence making it easier to reach to the masses.
This campaign will attract students, as the scholarship would be a huge help for the students who will receive it. However it will show community involvement of the bank that will attract older audience too. As it Amex lacks in projecting themselves as people’s bank, it would be a good step that will definitely attract large number of audience .

I am creating new campaign for international students calling signup TD and get a chance to win 250$ TD shopping card. This camping will attract all the new and older international In this contest if any international student who is already have account with td will invite his or her friend to open account in TD bank will receive free 20$. We will post about on all the social media and provide the link for online signup and in post we will give the link to invite your friends and Family to receive free 20$ in this way students and other who use social media sites will attract the other people by inviting them and can increase more popularity of TD bank an all the social media sites. We will post vides and images for this signup promoting on all the social media and ask the follower of TD bank share and win $ 20.



The Advantages of this Campaign that TD BANK will get new customers and achieve success on social media and people will get attracted to toward TD bank products and services. This Campaign would launched 3 times in year because every year there are three session of international student who entered in Canada. These campaign will run before one month September, May, January intakes because mostly international students are arrived before one month of starting their studies and they need a bank account to make their transaction for their needs.


This campaign will pull in understudies, as the stipend would be an enormous help for the understudies who will get it. Regardless it will show bunch incorporation of the bank that will attract more prepared assembling of individuals also. As it TD needs in envisioning themselves as people's bank, it would be a fair step that will attract sweeping number of social event of individuals.

RBC Bank have 342 follower on google plus and 17460 views on the other hand TD Canada Trust have 1109 followers which is much more than RBC bank TD and RBC Bank don’t share their posts with everyone on google plus. First we need to follow them and after they add us in their circle we are able to see their posts. RBC bank provide a link on their profile page that take the user of google plus to the direct website page of RBC Bank which good way for promoting their bank. TD doesn’t provide any link of their official website page. TD post 2-3 time in 2 weeks whereas RBC Posts every week on google plus. Both bank are using 50/50 rules their posts are related to public information as well as banking products and services, promotion are the content they used to post on  google plus. TD Bank have followers of all ages mostly are youngster who want excellent  carrier and life style as we see the post of TD Bank. RBC have the follower of all ages. TD Doesn’t post everyday on google+ still have more follower as we compare to RBC. RBC trying to become more popular on google plus by sharing post every day and get good attraction of social media user’s RBC still have to do much good to beat RBC Bank.
